day 9

here's where playing with markers led me... I wanted to spend more time and do the same type of face as yesterday, just more detailed, I tried to rework yesterdays but that was a total failure, I can't even show you...... so I tried again  and just spent more time blending while it was still wet, and this is what I got, the colors inspired by my lunch....(which is the theme at Artist's Play room so stop over and check them out or play along if you want)

I would like to make this up in spoonflower fabric and sew the face onto a doll, we'll see if I get that far.

  1. Beautiful tones in that face! I'm intrigued by the thought of putting it on fabric and using it for a doll. Hope you try it!

Each face has been absolutely amazing (and the incorporation of the mandala - Wow)! I would love to be able to flip through your sketchbook!

  9. Wow, it's amazing what you can do with markers. You should do it on material, what a fabulous doll it would make.

  11. The best thing here is how you took inspiration from a totally unrelated item and created a totally unique, individual, dramatic face! Great work. visiting from APR
