I took an old bracelet  That was my mothers hand-me-down...
Removed the pieces I didn't love..
added some dangly white beads...
and drew on the nuts with my white gel pen just like on my rocks!

2 more things that make me happy....

Awhile back I said I would post photos of a very cool fairy shop we stopped at on our vacation...
finally here they are.......

The shop was called ENCHANTED HOLLOW in Wellsboro, PA.....
and it was full of glittery, sparkly things...
magical music and incense...
crystals and wands...
fairy gardens and supplies for making your own...
i got a pocket talisman and wonderful pen and ink set...
(I'll take a photo when I get around to cleaning out my desk with
cubby holes where it will eventually live)
My older son got another knife for his collection...
my daughter got some books on herbalism and some gemstones...
We all really enjoyed it....

And if you ever get to Wellsboro you must check out the Wynken, Blynken, and Nod statue there.....
there are illustrated books of the poem in the book shop, along with bacon flavored everything and a cat that greats you at the door. There was a cat at Enchanted Hollow as well now that I think about it.
But I am now off topic...
 the statue.....
I think I like it because my Grandma really liked the poem, and i also read it to my kids....I tried to sing it to them but they didn't like my singing even back then....

Wynken, Blynken, and Nod one night
Sailed off in a wooden shoe —
Sailed on a river of crystal light,
Into a sea of dew.
"Where are you going, and what do you wish?"
The old moon asked the three.
"We have come to fish for the herring fish
That live in this beautiful sea;
Nets of silver and gold have we!"
Said Wynken, Blynken, and Nod.

The old moon laughed and sang a song,
As they rocked in the wooden shoe,
And the wind that sped them all night long
Ruffled the waves of dew.
The little stars were the herring fish
That lived in that beautiful sea —
"Now cast your nets wherever you wish —
Never afeard are we";
So cried the stars to the fishermen three:
Wynken, Blynken, and Nod.

All night long their nets they threw
To the stars in the twinkling foam —
Then down from the skies came the wooden shoe,
Bringing the fishermen home;
'Twas all so pretty a sail it seemed
As if it could not be,
And some folks thought 'twas a dream they'd dreamed
Of sailing that beautiful sea —
But I shall name you the fishermen three:
Wynken, Blynken, and Nod.

Wynken and Blynken are two little eyes,
And Nod is a little head,
And the wooden shoe that sailed the skies
Is a wee one's trundle-bed.
So shut your eyes while mother sings
Of wonderful sights that be,
And you shall see the beautiful things
As you rock in the misty sea,
Where the old shoe rocked the fishermen three:
Wynken, Blynken, and Nod.
