I almost forgot about doing this post I was so caught up in checking out all the treasuries on etsy with my mini canvas! they are all sooo beautiful and interestingIt's going to be sooo hard to pick one on sunday!
anyway...
here's the inspiration.....this is maybe the eaglet but it's stomach is whitish too so not sure but it's right where the daddy eagle always sat a little ways away from the nest...
and the sketch...
and more inspiration at Mcdonalds....
and more sketches...
watching the birds soar
waiting for the perfect shot

ReplyDeleteso much beauty from your hands to our eyes.
ReplyDeletelove your sense of humble humor.
you have me in the same tribe, smiling
I will never come here and NOT mention the Falling Ladies. I love them!.
ReplyDeleteYou catch the best shots in the paintings. These are beautiful. I believe that can indeed be a young eaglet perhaps, but maybe an Osprey. Do you live near water? I can guess and say "Yes" because of the shore birds at Mac and Don's. They do that along Lake Superior in Duluth!
Peace
These are stunning, I love your style! So much tallent.
ReplyDeleteI'm always amazed at your watercolor drawings. :) Awesome birdies!

I love both paintings but I chose the seagulls because they just make me so darn happy. I love to watch them too and any McDonald's parking lot is always a great place to find them. I just buy extra fries for them!
