I made another video for you this week. In this one i have painted 4 watercolor mandalas in my sketchbook. I read on a few people's blogs lately that they tend to skip the videos when they see them on people's blogs. I am just the opposite, i love to see videos, especially art videos of people creating. I vegetated a bit this week in the evenings watching art videos, and if i had saved all the links i would show you the best of what i saw, some amazing things.... But i didn't, ooops. Anyway, please don't skip this video, it's about slowing down to enjoy what you see..., it's about 5 minutes long... Slow down, take your time and relax! That's my deep thought and advice for you and for myself this week. Slow down and enjoy what you are seeing and doing without being in such a rush to see and do the next thing. I will try to Take my own advise, and just do one thing at a time today!
And for those of you who just truly don't have the 5 minutes today, i'll post my 4 sketches below the video...
I took your advice and didn't hurry. I watched the video, right here, right now.mI love your series here. each is a masterpiece in it's own right. Today is the Fall Equinox. It all goes together. It also connects very well with the next e-mail, you'll see. You are one very talented artist.
I have to admit that I am one of those who skip the videos but only because I try to catch up on as many folks' blogs during my lunch break at work on a Friday and I can't watch the videos on my work computer! Then by the time I get home, if I get a chance to blog hop on my home PC I can't remember who had a video posted!
Anyway, your illustrations are amazing - I love that you were inspired by the 4 elements and the colours you used are so perfect for each. These are stunning.
Your mandalas are outstanding. that earth one especially. It seems like you are still in that place where ideas are flying at you faster than you can keep up with. You go girl!! Happy PPF
Beautiful and I think you have a strong affinity for water. Nearly half of your video is devoted to the evolution of the water element with almost nothing for fire. Yet the fire page is equally beautiful and exciting.
Beautiful and endearing sketches!!! And indeed they are wonderful miracles!!! They are to be cherished!!! Thank you!!! Cathy
