creating a custom order

 

I have been painting this mandala for a special order, to try to match a previously sold one.... not sure I succeeded in making it a companion piece, but I am happy with it anyway...I have been taking photos of my mandalas when the lines are done before I paint, so that I can make up a mandala coloring book once I get a few more. I hope to offer it digitally on etsy then. we'll see....

Busy

I had sooo much I wanted to say and show you but I am late as always... so here's a few quick bits about my favorite spot at the river, well, any spot on the river is my favorite actually...

so sorry if you hate to look at other peoples vacation photos as I have a bunch for you. It was a wet week, tons of rain and for some reason my son never managed to adjust, he was either sick or just anxious... hard to tell which as he still doesn't communicate that kind of thing.... all he wanted to do was walk... we hiked 5 miles a day to keep him content, well as content as he could be. We'd had soooo much rain that hiking the trails to the pond was like walking in creek beds....

Hello all, here are some photos from my week, and just a bit about what I have been doing....
I am immersed in Downton Abbey, i am watching marathons of it to see all the 3 seasons and i love it!
NovaKodah is growing fast, up to 14 pounds, the vet thinks he's not all miniature husky, but maybe some chow too. Who knows, but it really doesn't matter... he's just soooo cute!

I am planning on putting these custom rocks on my etsy... once I get a little nest made of needlefelting or a pouch sewn up. These are my words of the year, for last year, this year and next year. They sit on my desk at work in this little hummingbird nest I found...

I am listening to Of monsters and men, love them too...
I have been playing with all my little bits and pieces of beach pottery, and scheming and planning....
