Then any number of little things happen to set me off on a related but different path....like I probably saw some art I liked different from mine, or certain colors I liked.
And also there is the dreaded activity of scanning and lightening up the art I did for the alphabet kids so I can make it into a book. I hate that part, especially since I got a newer version of photoshop when I got my Mac so now I really have to start from scratch as far as knowing what I am doing.
So, from a combination of procrastination, and new inspiration I started on Valentines cards.... lighter, hopefully softer and looser looking .....
And these four cards, have led me on to a whole new direction that I will show later.
Hopefully once I tackle photoshop I will get these printed as cards and in my Etsy shop!
Happy paint party Friday!
Oh good luck with Photoshop ... I downloaded a new version a while back only to discover I had the wrong version that had fewer options, ugh. It has forced me to be more creative on my own, but it is frustrating when I can't do what I want to do. I will correct this one of these days, but now there doesn't seem to be time or the inclination. I love your cards ... I hope you do get them done in time for Valentine Day (including shipping time). I will be looking for them ...

DeleteThese are adorable. Good luck on your new Photoshop . . . I hate it when I have already mastered something and things change to make me have to relearn. Have you noticed that "new and improved" is usually not a good thing?
ReplyDeleteHappy weekend!
Connie :)
Yes, improvements don't always seem like improvements!

Deletelove all the different hair designs :)
ReplyDeleteunless its Photoshop elemants you had, the newer versions are not that different and there are a lot of tutorials online if you get stuck :) the scanning tho, is def a pain :/
Well I settled down and did it, turns out I had no trouble scanning and even photoshop went pretty easily considering past tries!
