Red berries all around

This week I saw red berries everywhere...
on vines clinging to fences, on ground cover, on trees...
As the leaves drop the berries are left behind just for me to find.
Not to eat, just to sketch...

Rushing off to work
I"m driving into the sun
singing oldies LOUD

ps:
if you wanted an update on how it's going vegan then you can read yesterdays post...
today I am feeling deprived but still not craving sugar! Iam having trouble wanting to eat at all...
Happy Paint Party Friday and Hello all at Haiku my Heart!

  1. I love the reference to the berries as "jellied Jewels" in your last painting.
Your haiku made me laugh at your moment of happiness, then I wondered what you considered an oldie.
I will get to your previous post later today. I have been going through drastic dietary changes as well. I want to compare notes.
Thanks for this, made me smile and feel good.

    Peace

  29. "Jellied Jewels" and Haiku about driving into the sun and listening to oldies … I adore doing just that although it's been a while since i joined in on a song. Those berries are perfectly rendered and i luv the style of writing and colour chosen, all in harmony and evoking Autumn's beautiful character.

You inspired me to write this for you with your special words….."Jellied Jewels"

    I see thru your eyes
    autumn "jellied jewels" and sun
    Oldies ride the waves

just having some fun …hope you like it…… lol

    p.s. your photos are gorgeous.

Beautiful art journal page, i dont use long quotes or phrases in my art journal page often, and really need to try that and you really have integrated the text into the work nicely.
