I've got a video for you this week of making this latest mandala.
It's a bit shaky in certain sections as I handheld the camera while I was painting. Totally need a tripod I guess. But it's a first try so don't judge it too harshly! It's alittle over 5 minutes I think so just GO WATCH IT!!!! I really enjoyed making the videos, almost as much as painting so let me know what you think, and hopefully I'll get better as I go and I've started the next video already...
full of rich color
paint flows and blends together
dancing pen lines move
I'm linking to Paint party friday here
I'm also linking to haiku my heart here
and Butterfly effect for their flower theme here ( can you see the tiny white flowers I added, just a touch but my next mandalas is ALL Flowers!)
and don't forget to visit the artist's play room this week too with their rainbow theme, here.
beautiful! so wonderful to watch you create and hear a song i have not heard in years! your colours and lines seem to dance effortlessly from within. a pure treat to be here with you!

That was fun to watch. :) You did great for painting and handling the camera. Mine would be all blurry. :)) Be careful with the lighting and shadows though. They sneak up on you cause your eyes adapt but camera doesn't.

Boy, are you ever a fast painter! LOL! I really enjoyed seeing your process. I don't color in many of my tangles, but I think now I may try. The intricate patterns you did are just gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteThese are amazing mandalas! I made my first mandala last week and I think I will be making more!
ReplyDeletemore joy! more food! yum!
ReplyDeleteYour lovely mandala matches the colors in the sangria! I was just saying to mom that we should do a big bucket of sangria and start marinating it, let it really get good for the summer. Mom used to do this when I was a baby, Clean out the vegetable crisper drawer in the fridge fill it with cut fruit and throw in the liquor for sangria, as the months went by the fruit got more and more drunk, by the time they ate the fruit at the end of the summer, one slice of orange would put your lights out!! Hehehe.
ReplyDeleteLove your mandalas, can't wait to see the floral one, it'll fit not next week's but the week's after theme!
Best,
Jenn of JustAddWaterSilly.com
