this week I found a

 little spot on the river,

just right for wading.

The deer and I both

stopped and stared for 5 minutes

until he ran off.

Happy paint party friday, and haiku my heart!

  4. I love every word, every photo. You talk to the deer as it stands and looks at you, talking to you. We have such a place nearby, walking distance, a place to wade in cold river water, with rocks, much like the ones you stack in piles. The roundness of these stones reflects the orbs that create the forces that make them so. Awesomness. Your art is so satisfying.

    Much Peace

  13. Ah such beautiful pieces. I can hear the water trickling over the stones.

My friend came face to face with a deer in the woods the other day - quite literally! He said he was not sure which of them jumped in fright the most!

  17. Great sketches! I especially love the one with the single green leaf. We don't have those big smooth rocks at our rivers. I love the look of them.
