This is so awesome. I love to pick up stones and rocks and spread them bout. Right now, I have a bunch of small round edged stones from the sea and am stacking them into Inukshuks. Then, I saw your drawing and I became inquisitive. I want to hear all about it. And as always, I love the Falling Ladies.
i love the way a stone placed with intention will cause one to pause thoughtfully. as will small words carefully honed back, or lines in a drawing who must tell a story. all gifts i find here today.
The fairy/ faery circle thingy is cute... never know which way you are supposed to spell that... but i love that glimpse into your sketchbook... your are drawing so well at the moment...xx
Magical!!! :D XXX
ReplyDeleteCairns are indeed always more than they appear. Liked everything about this post.

Oooh, so lovely. Makes me think of long summer evenings spent playing in my grandmother's flower garden, trying to spot a fairy.
ReplyDeleteWonderful! Did you place the fairy ring, or come across it. And were the fairies in attendance for you?

ReplyDeleteLovely sketches! What kind of sketchbook are you using? I can't seem to find one with smooth paper that likes watercolor.
