oh and I have a page of EDM sketches in my new moleskin notebook. The pages are so thin there will be no watercolor and even these scrapbooking pens show thru on the other side of the page so maybe I will glue pages together to make them thicker. I just don't feel like going back to pencil...
the challenges were to sketch a lamp, your mug and a purse or bag. I went alittle overboard on the detail of my leather bag , I'll try to loosen up on the next one...

ReplyDeleteOMGosh! I love-love-love that mandala!! It's beautiful and feminine. Gorgeous!!
ReplyDeleteI was very annoyed with moleskine's for sketching. A lot of ink pens bleed through, too. I really like your leather purse rendition with all the detail. Maybe your idea of gluing a couple pages together would work better. (If nothing else it will help use up the moleskine faster--LOL!)
Your peacock mandala is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteFabulous is the right word for your work of art !
