Illustration Friday submission for "Dusty"

This is a quick painting for the theme: Dusty. A dusty wind is blowing, love the wind, but not liking it being dusty. The umbrella helps a little though, too bad it's ruining her white dress! I like the brown paper though, and have been wanting to use that more often than the watercolors lately. It seems to fit...

    For this one the brown paper does work well. What kind of paint did you use?

  3. thanks for the kind comments, I just used cheap flat acrylic paint that I had on hand but I added shading with colored pencil...

  7. I love your falling ladies. Nice WC (s)! Cool color--is water color or gouache--I didn't know you could use water color on brown paper.
