I wish photos smelled
and carried the sense of peace
that came from these trees
and I have been doing some painting still....
I picked this one to show you but I am not sure why
as I don't even like this one. neither does my fox, I can see it in his face.
It saddens him.
I don't think I can bring myself to even finish it,
not that I think it's horrible,
just not inspiring in any way to me.
I hope to show you my new woodburning next week.....
See you!
I think it's very pretty! It's a lovely design and green like the coming Spring!
ReplyDeleteLove your little fox; the greens look like spring. !
ReplyDeleteI really do think that it is a beautiful piece, quite inspiring as well. Thank you for sharing

Ha! I think your fox is a harsh critic - I love your line work, watercolor, & it is definitely a cool pattern... But I totally get not feeling inspired by something and needing to move on :)
ReplyDelete(Looking forward to seeing the woodburning...)
Adorable Fox....I always think your pattern work is amazing!

Looks good for me!!!
ReplyDeleteSmiles, Saskia :)
Oh I so agree how nice it would be to catch the scents of the gorgeous photos of nature! Me thinks the fox is a bit ornery- your pattern looks really good so far :)
ReplyDeleteIt looks to me like your fox is saying: why don't you finish this? I like it, it's fresh and Spring-like ...
ReplyDeleteI agree with Denise - that little fox is interested in your art and not critical at all. Your photos are just wonderful
ReplyDeleteI hope your fox isn't too sad. Share those gorgeous photos with him if he is. That fresh greenness is miraculous.
ReplyDeleteHugs to you on the first day of March, Awesome One.
Good luck with the new etsy shop!
ReplyDeleteStay warm. :)
The design is lovely but if it doesn't inspire you then put it aside for a later time; I think the wood burning is preoccupying your creative space.I love wood burning as well and just sold an owl painting on etsy.I find it very relaxing.Looking forward to seeing yours.
ReplyDeletep.s. fav your shop and Pinterest : )

Wonderful photos! Poor little misunderstood fox... I think the look on his face is saying, "Why don't you like this? I think it can be amazing...." Happy PPF!
