So cool!
and next Brandy from artbrat.blogspot did May's page and Lisa from Pritistudio.blogspot did a pull out section for June....Both are awsome (although I don't think my photos of them do them justice) and wonderful to look over before starting on my spread for July!
This month I didn'd do a spread of art and a spread to explain it as usual, I did 2 spreads full of watercolor words of what I think about when I think about July, with a falling lady thrown in just because!...
Happy paint party friday and creative friday and crafty friday to everyone! Oh wait, I should add some of Brandy's needlefelting as I didn't do any again.... she's won another treasury challenge and is using this cool brooch...
and she also made this very cool breakfast play set of felt!Happy fiberarts friday too!
Oh Andrea- I AM LOVING these spreads with the words- SO gorgeous!!! And I also love the way you included a falling lady and a beach babe- beaUtiful work (as always ;))

ReplyDeleteI've never had a firefly in a jar and I kind of want one...
ReplyDeleteHi Andrea. How fun the traveling sketchbook is. Next year I may try that. Awsome work as always. Have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteTerrific spreads and loving the needlefelting. Happy PPF and enjoy the weekend, Annette x
ReplyDeleteThese travelling sketchbooks are so good! I love your pages - did you use watercolour pens to write the words as they look so neat and I know I could never create that with a brush!!
ReplyDeleteOk, needlefelted breakfast? Awesome!
ReplyDeleteI love that first sketchbook. "A white nightgown in the afternoon." Is that from a poem?
ReplyDeleteWow - that travelling sketchbook is looking fantastic... It is such a cool project! Your pages are perfect... I love your combination of images and text - amazing!
ReplyDeleteAnd that doughnut... love it!!! (I love them all, but I have a real thing for doughnuts! ha!)

Wonderful pages! It looks like a fun month!
ReplyDeleteAndrea your pages look great on here and I can't wait to see them in person. I'd like to know if you used watercolor pens, too. So creative! This project just keeps getting more and more fun ;)

ReplyDeleteLoving the traveling sketchbook and those felted pieces rock.
ReplyDeleteYour sketchbook is a delight, thanks for sharing it!!!! I adore the felt food, too yummy and just plain FUN!!!!! Deb
ReplyDeleteYour felted food looks good enough to eat! Yum donut!
ReplyDeleteNo, I didn't use a watercolor pen, didn't even know they had such a thing, I use a small bruch for the words, well actually for the whole thing. I only have one brush I use for all of my paintings.
ReplyDeleteSpinster Beth... I'm sorry I don't know what that was from as that page was from PritiStudio (by Lisa).
Wow...I love your style. Those pages are fabulous! I think the idea of a traveling sketchbook is so wonderful. Looks like you are enjoying it! :)
ReplyDeleteI am so jealous of the whole sisterhood sketchbook thingie! I still love to see what you are all doing though, even though I am envious. ;)
ReplyDeleteAndrea, your pages are so soft and pretty and colorful and...ALIVE!
ReplyDeleteThanks for posting them.
And for sharing mine...a white nightgown in the afternoon...just my words for where I was at ☺
