I had so much fun creating the alphabet kids and animals that I wanted to put them all together in one place. The newly created scribblepicnic artist co-op challenge over at
Dottyhill has a theme of Octopus this week, (along with a giveaway if you join in today) and it got me started on my poster.......More to come I hope!
Hi,
ReplyDeleteJust lovely. I love the way you show your progression with the watercolour. Beautiful.
Blessings,
Janis
I've seen a few of your alphabet pieces, they're wonderful. the poster is looking good. I like how you use colors.
ReplyDeletehave a lovely day.
This is a fabulous start to your poste, great job on the octopus!
ReplyDeleteI really liked seeing your process, vs. the instagram one which of course one cant do but so glad you did both mediums as it only adds exposure to Scribble Picnic, which at that this stage, is good! I love your end result, Andrea, as already noted on Insta. Thank you. And, as such, you get two entries into the giveaway too! :)
ReplyDeletethanks for sharing the steps to complete your painting! it's adorable!
ReplyDeleteLovely take on the challenge, Andrea! Your poster will be awesome for sure. :)
ReplyDeleteYour octopus really made me smile. Don't know if it was the colors or the smile that it was giving.
ReplyDeleteGreat piece, Andrea. I love how you blend your watercolors - unlike anyone I know. Well done and wonderful take on the theme. :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful blending of the colours Andrea. Great start to the poster.
ReplyDeleteThis is just gorgeous! It's like something straight out of a child's imagination - so it's perfect for a children's alphabet poster! Beautiful texture coming through in your blended watercolors.
ReplyDeletelove the expression on your octopus :)
ReplyDeleteOh, I thought I commented here last week. Must have forgotten to hit "Publish." Anyway, I really like your colorful octopus. Is that a giraffe he's hugging? Cute!
