I didn't have a face ready this morning and I knew I would only have about 5 minutes to make one and I couln't find a single watercolor paint here at home, it's all at work Ii think...
.so here's Margaret Sykes. She's in 6th grade and wants to be a floral designer when she grows up. Her grandma wants to go to college with her when she goes, and grandma wants to be an architect!
What do you want to be when you grow up.... I of course want to design tea packages.
Anyway, this is just kids markers on good watercolor paper then I wet it with a brush. I should have done the outlines in permanent marker so they wouldn't bleed as well. And I think i'd be fun to cover it all with bright loud colored pencil. Matbe I'll try that ...
Love the way this came out...all wild and free :D XXX
ReplyDeleteHi Andrea, I just got done looking at all of your faces...my most favorite is the paynes grey mandala and Whisper...I love her and her mom.

ReplyDeleteI love Margaret! I'd love to meet her grandmother, too! I'm 55 and going to college to be a nurse, so we would have a lot in common. You really do have a way with kid's Crayola markers! (I think it would be fun to design tea packages, too!)
