share the joy and my last 2 faces!

On the left is Darla's friend Pammy.... She loves fuji apple pear lifewaterand drinks at least 2 a day. she also checks her horoscope daily along with her biorhythm chart on the internet. She's a health food nut and doesn't ever litter. She's recycles and worries about the environment and global warming. She's adopted a whale on line and a donated to over 10 charities. Her worst habit is she eats a whopper every day for lunch, but so far her cholesterol is fine. She's tried to quit but her car seems to be programmed to drive there.

Then there's Clarisse, she has 4 cats; Chandler, Joey, Dick Chaney and October.... She also has 23 cans of artichoke hearts in her pantry and she would be hard pressed to explain why if you put her on the spot.

So sorry the 29 days are over, but as all the ladies of my 29 faces are members of the Secret Skirt Society, which i never got around to telling you about... I may have more stories about them later...

For Share the Joy, I wanted to share how much I am enjoying painting mandalas. There are so many millions of ways to decide to color them in let along how to draw them, and there's no difficult trying to make it look like your subject while you draw, it's all so esasy. Then you get to the watercolor part and it's just peaceful and beautiful to watch the watercolors flow onto good watercolor paper, I will someday try to make a video of painting them as it's just as fun to watch as it is to do it, well for me at least....

oh and for paint and palette I am showing my totally messy watercolors I use to paint with, looks horrible as I mix right in with the paints most days then have to go wash it out later.

And as I  have posted "almost" every day this month i will take a break and not post tomorow and link this one up with paint party friday, so go check them out as well, always so much inspiration there!

  1. What lovely ladies to finish the month with! And I ADORE your manadalas, so beautiful and creative! Your palette looks a LOT better than mine! At least you use a professional one, and you probably change your water as other as you should....

  3. I loved seeing the faces -- I'm so impressed that you undertook this project because painting or drawing faces intimidates me. And I'm wondering if you'd like to be a Fascinating Woman for FinallyMe.com. If you would, email me and I'll tell you how it works.

    Cheers!

  6. Oh, Pammy ? A whopper everyday, really ? What about the addition to your carbon footprint with those ?
Now, Clarisse, you and I should get together. I have three cats so together we have 7 and that is a very lucky number ! I also have several great recipes for artichoke hearts...

Congrats on this wonderful menagerie of cool chickies, Andrea ! I love them so !
    Happy March, Talented One !

  7. Oh what a great place to visit. My first time here. I paint also. Mostly with acrylics but I have done watercolors. Don't care for oils. Too messy and take too long to dry. I have not been painting much lately, trying some other things but this post inspires me to put the paint to the paper. Blessings

  21. it would appear that you treat your watercolours in the same way I do... great to see... as to the 23 cans of artichoke hearts... made me laugh rather nervously as I was cleaning out the pantry the other day and found 7 cans of chickpeas.... no clue how they got there,,, but wish I had a chocolate fairy rather than a chickpea fairy, but then again maybe a chickpea fairy is better than an artichoke fairy...xx

  34. Lovely faces, congrats on completing the challenge.

We once had a whole stack of tin tomatoes (over 20) in the pantry,I thought we'd never use them all up, it did take us a while to deplete the stack, but it's all gone now. Tin foods do come in handy. A Chickpeas, artichoke or tomatoes fairy?, I think I'd rather a chocolate fairy too, my waist line may not though :)

Your Palette looks great, I love that it is well used! Thanks for sharing it with P&P this week.

    xx

  36. So lovely to hear from, thank you so much for leaving me a lovely message! Your art remind's me of Teal Scott's have your heard of her. She can see energy and makes art so like yours. Do you see energy too? If you don't see it, you certainly feel it and live it in your art! Love the lady who eats a whooper everyday. I thought my cholesterol would be high too as I like chocolate and it is 4.7. So cool! :D Huge smile to you! Julie
