Sunday sketches

Just wanted to join in with a quick sketch for Sunday sketches' contest for a temporary logo..... It gave me a reason to sit and draw for a while today. You can check out the other sketches over at blue chair diary.

    she's cute and I like the flag in the flower, a good subtle way of saying England.

    A beautiful cute painting. I especially like the sky and tree and the subtle St George flower.

    It's wonderful, of course! A perfect fit for the Sunday sketches.

    We received our "The Bee Queen's Message" book the other day and are SO thrilled Andrea! We both let out a huge "YAAAAY!" When we saw it in our PO box!! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!!!! It's an unending delight to read and reread and we are honored to have one, signed no less. (I'm also saving the adorable envelope illustration as well) :)
